LOREN REID SEAMAN, ASID, IIDA, IFDA
President, Senior Designer"I'm designing for you... not just for your lifestyle, but for your lifetime."
A licensed designer with the state of Illinois, Loren Reid Seaman has worked in the interior design field from his first job in high school to his current position of Senior Designer and President of Loren Reid Seaman & Associates. Illinois Chapter President of I. F.D.A. for two consecutive terms, longstanding member of A.S.I.D. and I.I.D.A., Loren opened his firm in 1988 with a vision: to create functional, beautiful, personal interiors that endure the test of time.
With an emphasis on quality, timelessness and style, Loren has worked on everything from ground-up construction and renovation to single family homes, condos, office buildings, restaurants and showrooms. Focused on attention to detail, Loren operates on the philosophy that a job is finished only if it is completed with a consistency of personal service.
"When I begin a project, the most important thing I do is listen to my clients. Sometimes they will tell me exactly what they want and other times they can’t express it. They may start with just a feeling – ‘I want it warm and comfortable or cool and chic.’ Then it's up to me to shape their vision and bring it to life."
"There are many different levels of client involvement. Some people like to be very hands-on and work closely with me as a team. Others just want me to present them with selections. Whatever works best for them, works best for me."
"The earlier I’m brought into a project the better. Do it right the first time is the absolute best way to design."
Brian C. Dryer

"Getting to know my clients is as important as understanding their tastes. They put their trust in my hands and I take that very seriously. I show them that I will turn their visions into reality, so that 10 or 15 years down the road we are still having a meaningful relationship."
Krista Precht
Interior Designer"When a client looks at a finished project and says, 'This is me!' it is the highest compliment they can give."

"Sometimes clients begin a project only knowing what feeling they want to create and others come armed with a color scheme, existing furniture, or a defined sense of taste.", she says.
"I enjoy the challenge of bringing together function and beauty to a personalized design for each of my clients. I take great pride in creating an exciting space, especially when there is a couple with two different styles."
