Interior Designer
hen a client looks at the finished project and says, “This is me!” I feel I've been given the highest compliment possible.
I worked in the trades while I was in school so I know how jobs should be done. I have very high expectations about the quality of the work and I am willing to be home to make sure a job is done correctly. Having Krista relieved me from that burden. In a lot of ways, she was the general contractor for the decorating... and it was heavy duty decorating construction. When there were any issues, she managed them in the most professional manner. She made sure everything met my expectations. The lack of aggravation that I could have incurred was a tremendous value added benefit.
My design inspiration comes from you, my clients. It all begins by listening to what you want to accomplish with a room, whether by describing a feeling of what you want to create or by conveying your vision of the finished project.
I enjoy the challenge of bringing together function and beauty in a design that reflects the lifestyle you want to live. I take great pride in creating an exciting space, especially for couples with different tastes. Being a designer is not about having a specific style. It’s about listening and delivering what you want.
Krista is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and worked at both Designs of the Interior and Plunkett Furniture before coming to LRS Interiors.
